Hello
Is there a way to see how much disk space is used by my virtual machines from the virtual center?
There is a screen in VC with the list of all my virtual machines where I can see the name, state, cpu & memory usage. But not the size of its virtual harddisks....
Any idea to easily get that information ?
Except looking in the configuration detail of each virtual machine or connecting to each ESX hosts and issuing a "du -h" command... i've no idea on how to get my information easily and quickly.
Regards,
Raphaël
I've been using VCPlus plugin from http://www.run-virtual.com/?page_id=184 and it shows all the VMs disk usuage very nicely and easy to setup.

There is a plugin/script floating around for the VI client which adds extra colums with more information. I think it's on YellowBricks. I'll see if I can find it for you.
You can do this from powershell vi toolkit. The plugin would be simpler, for the short term, but if you want to automate additional tasks that aren't readily available form the VC gui. Check out http://www.vmware.com/beta/vitk_win
There are forums for that as well, where you can get some assistance with it once it's setup. http://communities.vmware.com/community/developer/windows_toolkit
