Disconnecting host from Vcenter/Cluster and Adding to new Vcenter implications.

All,

We had to rebuild our vcenter onto a separate box because the database on the old one is completely messed up. We have successfully disconnected stand alone hosts and added to the new Vcenter inventory with no problem. We wanted to know if there are any issues with turning off HA/DRS and disconnecting a host from vcenter that is currently in a cluster. Then adding it to the new vcenter to be managed.

Thanks!

No problem.

Simple disable HA, attach your host to the new VC, then re-enable cluster features.

Thanks sirs. We didn't think there would be problems, but wanted to verify with the collective to ease our worries.
