We have a few VMDKs that are currently set to "Independent Persistent". From what I understand, in order to disable this, the VM must be powered-off. Is it possible to disable this using PowerCLI while the VM is powered-on? If so, are there any caveats?
We're using ESX 4.0 with vCenter Server 4.0.
