We have a weird issue which occurs now and again in that the VDB assigns a machine that is already logged in and in use by someone else.
When this happens, the new user logs in and gets a message from Windows XP saying that user x is already logged in. User x is then normally disconnected from their session and is unable to log back in.
A reboot from vCenter or logging out of user x from vCenter normally cures the problem.
Does anyone have any ideas why this may be happening. We are using vCenter 2.5 build 104215. This particular pool is set to log off disconnected sessions after 10 minutes and users are not allowed simultaneous connections
Hopefully this issue will go away when we upgrade to vSphere, however this may be a while away. Has anyone experienced this before?
