Deploying VMTools in a Large Environment. What do you use?

Hi All,

I would like to know what everyone has been using to deploy vmtools in their environments? We have tried scripting with powershell, VUM, and Bigfix and to no avail. Its not very easy.

So please let me know what you guys/Gals are using.

In all (no exceptions) environments that I manage (from small to large), the VMware Tools is installed after the deploy of a new virtual machine, and if this virtual machine is cloned from a template, the template already includes the VMware Tools. And the challenge is only to keep the VMware Tools update, but for this we use Update Manager.
