DR test with Netapp and Virtual center

I have a issue that i can't figure out. Here is what I'm trying to do.

I haven a NFS datastore on a netapp filer. I snapmirror the datastore to a offsite location. I now am trying to bring some servers up in or DR location.

I shutdown the server completely

I have broke the mirror between the filers

I mounted the NFS datastore on the esx servers in the DR site

When I try to add the servers into the inventory I get configuration file cannot be found. All files are identical in both stores at both sites.

What am I missing.

Can you provide a copy of the "/etc/exports" file from both the source and destination filers?

We do the same thing. We snapmirror and import the DR VM's into a DR virtualcenter.. when there is a DR, we break the snapmirror and right-click on the VM to power on. Everything works great. We initially ran into "exports" permission issues and NFS file permissions. Sounds similar to your problem.
