Copy VMS

I want to move some vms in one ESX server to another ESX Server.

The one way is man storage Lun from the source server to the target server.

Now I had copy the lun and map the Lun to the targert server.

How to find the Vms in the target server?

Hi z,

You will need to rescan for both network storage devices and new VMFS volumes. You can do this in virtual center | Storage adapters | rescan, then under Storage click on "Refresh". I assume that the filesystem has already been formated before you copied your VM to it. If you still cannot see your volumes, may be your filesystem is not the same version. Might want to check.

Hope this helps.

Click on the host

Click on configuration

Click on storage

Right click on the datastore you want to browse and select "Browse datastore"
