Copy/Move error in Datastore

When I try to copy/move file from one datastore to another datastore within vCenter 4.1, then I get the error message saying “Unable to access file”.

ESXi 4.1

vCenter 4.1, Windows 2008, R2

Maybe you should give FastSCP a try? Also, make sure that ISO is not mounted to a guest.

what file are you trying to copy/move? Why not just clone the VM, if in fact that is what you are trying to do.

No. I am trying to move my iso files to another datastore, and it wouldnt let me. I can clone the VM w/o an issue.

Ok.. is there a quick way to check if iso is mounted? because I have over 150 VM's, I can't check one by one...

I like to use RVTools. The vCD tab will tell you.
