Converting Windows Server 2003 x64 using VMware vCenter Converter Standalone Boot CD Error

Hi All,

I've downloaded "VMware vCenter Converter Standalone" v 4.0 and from this directory

C:\Program Files\VMware\VMware vCenter Converter Standalone

I was able to find these ISO files:

converter-helper-vm-x64.iso --> i burn this ti CD and then perform reboot

converter-helper-vm.iso

however, during the boot it went into linux startup and then it asked me for a login and password ?

what should i type here then ?

my goal is to be able to convert this physical machine into a .VMDK file to be later loaded on ESXi or VMWare Server 2.0

Thanks.

But you are converting windows machine that is probably on a domain. I haven't used standalone Converter, but vCenter add-on Converter always asks for domain credentials (or local admin).
