Converting Physical to Virtual

I will be converting a physical server to virtual in a few days. The server is in a RAID 5 partition with a 12 GB system drive and a 90 GB 😧 drive.

When I go to convert, is it wise to increase the space on the system drive from 12 GB to 15 GB?

Also, how do I change my vmware username. It's driving me nuts!

Thanks

Converter will recognize the drives you have configured. During the conversion process you will be asked to keep the size of the disks, shrink or expand them

Right but have you heard of any issues when increasing the size of the system drive (C:)?

Thanks

Hi,

You should not have any problems increasing the size of the system drive,

Just use a converter process and specify new size,

This operation is pretty straight forward.

Hope this helps,

Alex

I didn't think there would be an issue using converter to increase the size of the system drive but I just wanted to make sure.

Thank You
