So I've been finding the plugins to act a little flakey in general. If I pull up the plugin manager and go to the installed tab they randomly uncheck themselves, right now I only have update manager and converter installed. Well they did it again, only this time when I click the check box on converter the whole Infrastructure Client session crashes. Anyone know whats going on?
it looks like rebooting the VCS fixed the issue...but it's still odd that they uninstall themselves....does this happen with anyone else?
yes, same thing here
but we only have the update manager installed
every once in a while a window shows up saying that the session has timed out and than the update manager plugin is beeing disabled
till now the vi client itself has only crashed a couple of times
it's only a guess but I think the effect comes more often on the 64-bit Vista machine
the vi client on the x86 Windows XP laptop runs more reliably
rebooting the VCS improves this behaviour but it's still recurring
I had this problem when I was trying to enable converter plugin. There was no need to reboot the VC. Just restart VMWare converter service.
