I have set up a Vspere environement and have some virtual machines running in it, they all run good (no problems)
Now I want to convert some physical machines to Virtual, I am using Vmware converter server (standalone).
I have separted my VMkernel (ISCSI) network (192.168.12.x), my management network (192.168.11.x) and my virtual machine network (192.168.0.x) by using VLANS on my procurve switch.
My Vcenter server (physical) has 2 NICS, 1 of them is attached to the virtual machine network (ip=192.168.0.4), and one is in the management network (ip=192.168.11.13).
When I try to import a virtual machine by Converter standalone (pc003 in this case) I almost instantly see this error:
I have attached a port of my LOG (from where the cloning begins)
What am i doing wrong?? I can telnet from my vcenter server to my ESX hosts on port 902 perfectly.
I am doing the import from the converter server to my vcenter server (not directly to the ESX hosts) because my clients/servers cant acces the management network.
