Consolidated Backup and ISCI hardware

Hi everybody,

Anybody can to use consolidated backup using CX-300i?? I read in documentation that is not supported but I received an email from VMWare that it will be supported in the new version of VCB 3.0.2

Anybody can help me?

Hello,

I assume you are using a VCB Proxy Server? I would assume that what VMware says goes and that you will have to wait. However, if you are using the VCB commands from the SC then it should work just fine.

Yes it will work, it's just not supported. You follow the same steps as regular VCB, just use an iSCSI initiator.
