I have a couple of questions; First is it possible to mount a snapshot to network server, then have my VCB server access that mount point to backup an image? If so what would be the "js" syntax to direct this mount point? example my proxy server is "win2003abc"... this contains VI 2.5, backup exec 11d, Consolidated backup and integration module; I want to mount my virtual images to another larger file share server named "win2003xyz" with a shared folder on the d:\ of that server.
I want to backup multiple VM images with different IP's and of course DNS name in one backup job, how would I write the pre-backup command to add both of these machines and possible another. For example I have _vm1.mydomain.abc _and vm2.mydomain.abc, my pre-backup command is stated as "C:\vmware\vmware consolidated backup framework\backupexec\pre-backup.bat" FullVMBackup vm1.mydomain.abc-fullVMBackup; I tried adding both names but I have not been successfull. Can someone help me?
