I am trying to setup VCB and having trouble.
I have VI center 2.5, backupexec 11d, VCB and the correct integration module installed on a physical win2003 server standard edition box. Our Virtual Macine setup are on two esx servers with 2 vms on 1 host, and 3 on the other. These are stored to a san server.
My vcb server is connected to the lan but not directly to the san. I have tried setting up the installation according to the read me files of the integration module, but im not able to mount the images to take a backup. I recently tried manually to to use vcbMounter to test and recieved error messages. Im new to working with this backup so maybe someone can help me. below is the errors i recieved:

i typed the command as follows:
vcbmounter -m ndb -h esx01.tlusa
.local -u root -p pherper -a ipaddr:win2003db02.tlusa.local -r d:\vcbbackuptest\
-fullVM -t fullvm
also this way
vcbmounter -h esx01.tlusa
.local -u root -p pherper -a ipaddr:win2003db02.tlusa.local -r d:\vcbbackuptest\
-fullVM -t fullvm -m ndb
I wasnt able to get either way to work correctly.
Im not sure exactly how to change or implement the "-m ndb" correctly, sorry to sound like a novice, just trying to figure this out correctly
Im not sure, how can I i make my proxy server see the all the luns as my esx host server. Im not connected to the san, my proxy server is on a different floor connected to the lan only. I have used vcbVMname and was able to see all the virtual machines. I have the uid numbers and all other information printed. I just cant get the vcbmounter to create the snapshot or copy the files to my folder on the proxy server.
Hi,
Just wanted to mention that the option is:
-m nbd (not ndb)
