Complete Removal of vFRC from ESXi6.7 hosts

I have 16 hosts all configured with vFRC (None of which is assigned to individual VM's). I have upgraded vCenter to lastest during patching cycles and obviously I dont have access to a Flash client in order to remove. I have checked out ESXCLi which shows the vFRC and I can see the VFFS and its being used but I cant remove it. I have searched for a way to simply to remove it (and free up 32 SSD's in the process) to no avail. There is nowhere (since the update) to "un-configure" this option and the "Virtual Flash Management" option is not available anymore in vCentre.

Each hypervisor shows the "Virtual flash resource" in vCenter.

Can anyone point me in the direction of a set of directions for simply removing the vFRC (vffs) completely?

I would like to upgrade to vCenter 7(Esxi7) later this year and get back those 32SSDs.
