I've been trying to move an instance to another farm using cold migration and it fails at varying places - even got to 94% one time. So, I figured I was facing some network problems so thought I would resort to scp'ing everything across and manually register the instance on the new farm and that works.
I did notice the scp stall every so often but at least it got through to completion.
So, is the 'Migrate Host' sensitive to those stalls that I'm seeing in scp or is it some other issue that I need to resolve to allow 'cold migrate' to succeed ?
