Does anyone know the trick for clearing alarm states that get "stuck" for a VM? I have a number of VMs that threw alarms in the last couple of months, and even after the VM goes out of alarm state AND the alarm has been acknowledged (there are no other options, i.e., delete alarm), the VM continues to show in VCenter as being in a non-nominal state.

Obviously, this sort of "false positive" is quite annoying, resulting in wasted time trying to figure out if this is a real issue or "crying wolf."

    Hello.

I've been able to clear these by disabling the alarm and then re-enabling it.

    Good Luck!

you acknowledged the alarm and then reset the alarm?

Unfortunately, the only option (these are all "Virtual machine cpu usage" alarms) is "acknowledge" (and copy to clipboard--very useful at this point heh).

However, vmroyale's solution works; all of the "stuck" alarms were cleared when I disabled the trigger and didn't "come back" when I re-enabled it.
