Changing license server default ports...

Hi all

We aren't using the standard ports for our license

server, so I have opened up the relevant ports in the esx firewall and

also added the new ports to the license server client. All works fine,

no problems.

But...there are still some services that use the

license server default ports which i cannot change, such as

theVirtuaCentre Management Server configs/ Statistics as an example (screenshot attached)

Any ideas?

So you just change the port at the point of connection. so instead of default port 27000 you can change to whatever you made it.

37015@vc.domain.com. The 37015 is the port you change on the license server. That's your new license server address.
