Changing SWAP Cluster settings without downtime of the VM

Hi All

My question refers to the version vSphere 5.0.

I need to change the swap file settings of my VMware Cluster.

Now it's been set to "Store the swapfile in the datastore specified by the host".

I want to change it to "Store the swapfile in teh same directory as the virtual machine"

Can I do that without downtime of the VM's?

Kind regards

Martin

You can change the setting in the cluster without impacting your running virtual machines, but virtual machines will not use this new setting until they have been power cycled.
