Cannot create resource pool via context menu - works via "overview"-tab

Hi,

while setting up a Cluster based on vSphere and vCenter, I have created some lower privileged roles for resource pool administrators (based on the VMWare example with some added rights). What I am trying to achieve is, that my resource pools admins cannot access resource pools of other departments and are limited to their own one.

I now have the effect, that they cannot create any sub-resource pools underneath their own one via the context menu, but still are capable of doing it via the "overview" tab of the current resource pool. Which right am I missing (or where do I have to apply my existing rights to)?

Thanks,

mat.ban

You mention following the VMware example, can you elaborate on what permissions you currently have set and on which items (i.e. datacenter, cluster, resource pool, etc)?
