Can the reserved resouce be used by other VM

Hi Friends,

Supposed there are two VMS in the ESX Host. VM_001 and VM_002

The total CPU of the ESX host is 2G.

The reserved Value of VM_001 is configured to 0.5G, and the other 1.5G is allocated to VM_002.

When the VM_001 and VM_002 is powered on, and the CPU of VM_001 is 100% used while only 40% is used in VM_002.

Does the VM_001 will use some CPUS by the VM_001?

Reservations are checked at VM power on. The reservations simply ensures that there is enough CPU power to boot the VM.
