Can't start Virtual Center service in Windows

Hi Folks,

I can't start the VC service 2.5 from Services..getting "The VMware VirtualCenter Server service terminated with service-specific error 2 (0x2)."

tried the options in http://communities.vmware.com/thread/122543 but no luck..

its running on SQL 2005 Express edition, no changes have been made during last few months. it was working fine till last week,

Any clues please?

Tried all the options except the re-install, still no luck...

If i try for re-install VC, will it effect license server?

Have you tried running a transaction log backup of your SQL DB and then trying to start the service again?
