Hi,
I'm having annoying problems getting into BIOS. I tried to google for an answer but surpsisingly got no relevant hits. Maybe it's just me then.
Anyway. I run Linux on my work computer (and all other computers I use). I run Virtual Infrastructure Client on a remote VMware Server windows client which in turn I access with Linux VMware Server Console (unfortunately there's no Linux version of Virtual Infrastructure Client). Whenever I start a virtual machine in the Virtual Infrastructure Client from the console, it goes past the BIOS POST screen before I have a chance of hitting F2 even if I keep hitting F2 way before the console shows anything. After a few tries I finally do get into BIOS, but I hate hitting reset evey time I miss the POST screen.
Now before I install windows on VMware Workstation or do something as desparate as that, I'd like to know is there a way to delay BIOS POST to have more time to get into BIOS, is there any other solution and am I really the only person having this problem?
Thank you,

There is a new feature added to VC2.5 that allows you to check a flag to boot into BIOS the next time the VM restarts. It is done on a per VM basis, from the normal "Edit Settings" dialog. See attached screen shot.

Thanks ExCon. So basically there's no real solution. I guess I'll just put network boot first in every VM. Then at least I can reset safely before it starts booting the OS.

That's just awesome, thanks! I think I got to upgrade VC then.
