Can't delete custom alarms

We created custom alarms to be e-mailed to our group mailing list, and I was doing some tests and created some default ones just to check and make sure our settings were correct. It worked, so I went to delete them out of the node they were defined in ( Hosts & Clusters ) and Virtual Center would not let me delete them or edit them. I'm just stuck, does anyone have any suggestions on how to delete these alarms?

are you trying to delete with the same account you logged in with and created the alarms? You need to have at least the permissions under "all priviledges" for "alarms" and have "remove alarms" checked.

Hello,

Did anyone apply any new permissions or roles recently?

We added a few permissions and roles yes, but I am still an administrator, and I have every permission, I don't see why I should not be able to delete these.

Permissions can be overriden at the object level.

If the a role was applied to a level and you are a member e.g. builtin users etc. and the role has lesser permissions then your administrator role will be overriden at that object.

I am an administrator, and I have total permissions, I applied the alarm to Hosts and Clusters which is the highest level in Virtual Center, and I applied that as an administrator.

Ha ha, during the writing of this response I tried once more just for kicks to try and delete the alarm and it worked, I don't know what happened or why it let me delete it this morning, but I was able to. Thanks for your help!
