Can't create templates

Hi everyone,

I've got VMWare VC2.5 Foundation installed with licenses and it's running. However whenever I try create a template (by cloning or converting etc) the option is always greyed out for me.

Does anyone have any idea why that could be?

Thanks very much!

Make sure that your VM is powered down before you try to make template out of it.

And second thing is that check the user permission with which you have logged on to the VIC. Because the permission level on the VI is very granular so just check on the permissions available to the user.
