Can't assign license with web-client.

hi Smiley Happy

today I've spend few hours installing new environment SQL 2014 and vCenter 6.

At this point I have only one user administrator@vsphere.local. I can log both: web-client and vsphere client with administrator@ account.

When I've started to add hosts I noticed that under web-client there is no license icon (screen1)  and when I choose Administration tab license is not present there also (screen2).

So I logged to vSphere client with the same account... everything is OK, licenses are in place (screen3)

... any idea?

see following thread with same issue reported

There is no Licensing part in web client

last updates I can see there are, one of the VMware engineer miroslavpankovmiroslavpankov requesting logs for web client, not too sure if there was a resolution there.

Think I've messed up DB...

adding:

CREATE SCHEMA [VMW]

go

ALTER USER [vpxuser] WITH DEFAULT_SCHEMA =[VMW]

go

helped in my case.
