Can't assign LUN as Raw Device Mapping

We have a virtual machine which had two LUNs associated as RDM. Then we deleted the LUNs.

Now, we are trying to aasign another new LUN as RDM, but it keeps continuosly saying: "A file was not found: /vmfs/volumes....._1.vmdk"

We've tried to assign the LUNs from two different ESX servers, but got same result.

We are using ESX 3.0.1, VI 2.0.1

Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks a lot!

Finally solved this problem. I'll post it in case it can help anyone.

Both the LUNs we couldn't assign are mirrored from another SAN. In the other SAN, the path to both these LUNs has changed from controller A to controller B.

Our ESX was trying to access the LUNs through controller A.

Changed the path to controller B in our ESX, now we can perfectly assing RDMs to these LUNS.
