Hmmm...I'm thinking of scrapping my 3i install and using standard esx...
I removed the VMkernel interface from it so I could recreate it to cure my HA problems. Now when I try to add it again I get the error:
Error during the configuration of the host: Unable to update vmk2: SysinfoException: Node (VSI_NODE_net_tcpip_vNics_ipaddr); Status(bad0005)=Already exists;Message=Unable to Set
It looks like if I use an IP address on a different subnet it works though...which I seem to recall was an issue when I installed the 3i server...
Any thoughts? Is mixing 3 and 3i in a cluster a bad idea?
