Alarm for loss of connection of dvUplink?

Hi,

is there a way to define an alarm which triggers, if one of the physical adapters (which is configured as an dvUplink of a DVS) of a host loses his connection? I have a DVS with 2 active adapters and one standby adapter. I would like to be notified if one of the active dvUplinks of an went down and the standby adapter becomes active. I thought the default "Loss of network connection"-alarm for a host will trigger if that happens - but it wont. VCenter shows no hint at all, if a nic which is an dvuplink went down.

I've already searched for possible alarm triggers in the DVS- and dvPortGroup-objects, but i cant find any eligible trigger...

Hi

Do you found a solution for this problem? Same thing here, vSphere 5.1 with dvSwitch.

I see that one nic is down in the vCenter, but there is no alarm.
