After vCenter IP change, unable to backup vCenter database

After a vCenter IP change, we're unable to backup the vCenter database.  We are currently running vCenter 6.7 U3j.  We needed to change the IP address of the vCenter server yesterday.  We have a scheduled backup setup in the vCenter Appliance Management console.  Since the IP change yesterday, the backup is failing.  Receiving error "Location type 'NFS' not supported" when attempting a backup.  I thought the issue was on the NetApp (storage) side.  I had our Netapp tech add the new IP for access to the backup location.  Still receiving the same error. I tried another reboot of the vCenter appliance and still no go, same error.

We have 4 other vCenter servers in linked mode with this one.  Two of those also backup to the same location as the one we are having issues with.  Those backups are all successful.

What could cause this error ("Location type 'NFS' not supported") after a vCenter IP change?  Is there another setting I am missing?

Thanks for any assistance with this issue...

HI,

Can you please check the backup log? (/var/log/vmware/applmgmt/backup*)

Also do you know which nfs version was set on the netapp?

All vCenters are on the same version?

Did you try any other protocols like scp on those having issues?

Thanks,
