Active vSphere.local sessions in vSphere C# Client

vCenter 5.5u2.

Does anyone know why new active sessions are spawned when disconnecting old vSphere.local sessions in the vSphere C# client?

Are there dependencies with SSO and or Plugins? Thanks.

It would be worth knowing what the sessions are.  Are they service accounts tied to backup software or something of that nature?  Even if they are user accounts, I'd be willing to bet that they are tied to software that requires a login.

When I terminate the administrator@vsphere.local account, four new sessions are spawned, see image below.

Also, is the proper way to end a current session File > Exit? When I do this I can log back in and see the session still active. Thanks.

Kill a session, and when a new one is created, go to the events tab on the vCenter level and see where the login originated.  It will say something like VPSHERE.LOCAL\administrator@10.10.10.10
