Account permissions changed?

This morning we noticed that all of the administrative accounts within Vcenter can no longer do anything. A single user account can get in and manage the servers but can not modify the other admin accounts to give them access again. What in the world would have done this? We have not applied the 5.1a login patch because it calls out for domain accounts and our server is not on a domain. (Don't yell at me I inherited it.) Should we apply the patch?

Welcome to the Community - I would look to see if anyone has edited the Local Administrator account

Thanks! The VMware tech is in the machine now, but it appears that the admin account has been removed. At least you can not see it, but you can still login with it. Not sure if that is by design.
