Access Virtual Server ? not via the vi client?

I want to give a user access to the server which is not connected to the network.

I did not want to give access via the VI client...is there another way where i can possibly send them a link and they can view only that server?

you are trying to connect to an ESX Host? If so, web access is disabled by default.

the virtual centre all hosts and VMs are on the network as is the client that needs access..there is just one VM that does not have a nic installed - this is the machine the user needs access to..

You can allow vi-client with limited permission to that particular user ONLY. If not mistake, think vCenter web access also can generate url for direct access to the VM too.

log into the UI htts://yourvCentername/UI

click on a guest, and on the right hand corner under Command, you will see a "generate Virtual Machine Shortcut" link.

I get service unavailable when i try to browse the vcenter server.

Creating a shortcut, do i click on the machine in the vi client? or within the console?

you are in the UI now? If so, yes click on the guest in question and then the link on the right to generate the remote console link

If you cannot get to the UI, make sure your webservices are running

again... You checked your WebAccess Service on your vCenter Host OS? Is that service there and running?
