Hello.
I'm installing on the Virtual Center - Licence server (in a VM at the host) ESS which comes with a firewall. Now I'm not able to get to the VMs via Virtual Center but only directly through the host.
Have you any experience with this app or any advice about what ports do I have to open, I've tried all those configured at Host firewall ports like VMWare licence client, VCB, etc. without results.
Thanks.
If you disable the firewall, does it start working again?
Check out the diagram on page 141 of this doc: http://www.vmware.com/pdf/vi3_35/esx_3i_e/r35/vi3_35_25_3i_server_config.pdf
It woked again, I returned to snapshop temporarilly to keep working. With my first fright, even when I knew of grace period, and with my Licence server on a VM...
Jaja, very funny.
Thanks for the document
Any experience with ESS??
