Abort "Enter Maintenace Mode" task?

Hello!

I put one ESX 3 HOST into Maintenance Mode and all my VM's are still running.

Is it possible to "undo" Maintenance Mode without migrating all VM's to other Hosts ?

Is it because you use DRS and it's set to partially automated?

The Maintenance mode task will sit there until the virtual machines are migrated away.

If you either VMotion these VM's off the box or change the DRS setting of the cluster to automated, then you'll see the Maintenance task move on.

DRS isn't set up yet. And I dont use it at the moment.

And I don't wont that my VM's migrate to other hosts because

I did a mistake and the maintenace mode is not needed on this server.

So my question is to abort this job that waits until all my VM's are off or migrated to other Hosts.
