Alright, I am having a bit of a weird thing going on that I am hoping someone can help me with...
I have user jsmith, who is an AD user, jsmith is a AD member of the ADgroup VMAdmins. VMAdmins has Admin permissions on the root vcenter object.
However jsmith cannot login to vcenter with the error "You do not have permission to login to server..."
If I give jsmith permission specifically on the the root vcenter object, he can login just fine.
Other users in the same group can login with no issues, but a few are like jsmith and need the specified permissions for their individual account.
I cannot figure out why this is happening and I am pulling my hair out...
Any one have any ideas or even any direction to look
