We may have to obtain new VMware licenses, the new Standard Acceleration Kit with vCOPs and vCenter Protect Standard looks inviting.
However, the Standard edition doesn't have DRS.
What are possible ways to compensate for not having DRS??
We find the 'should' rules very useful but otherwise I don't see our vCenter or ESXi hosts usng DRS very much or very often.
I know increased monitoring of the hosts could make up for not having DRS...what can or could be done???
