I was told there is documentation about how to install a 2nd Vcenter 4.1 server to co-exist with your current one in the same Datacenter. the aim is to eventualy migrate all functions from one to the other. Does anyone know where I can find this particular method of installation? I dont want to do an inplace reinstall. too many replication and backups depend on the current install.
but what I was actually looking for was steps and best practices for installing an additional Vcenter server in the same site. Once that's done I suppose VMware heartbeat may come in handy
