In order to do some simple experiments on my own computer. I installed a Windows Server 2016 virtual machine on VMware workstations, and then installed an embedded version 6.5 vCenter (built-in database) on it.
Although I haven't taken over any esxi host and started any work, its memory consumption has reached 6G, and the process that consumes a lot of memory is java.exe. Is this normal?
I just started to learn about virtualization. Can anyone answer my questions?
It's normal behavior as all vcenter related thread running.

Looks like normal behavior. can you please reboot vcenter and then observe it.
Yes, I have rebooted it. It's the same as before. It seems to be a normal behavior. I'm just a little confused.
