question about Hyperic

I was wondering if someone could give me some advice about using Hyperic. We are using tomcat, Apache, Java, DB2 and MySql. We are now doing some research trying to find a good tool monitoring whats going on. We have 9 servers running in one envirement.

What kind of advice? Linux? Windows? What are you hoping to accomplish?
