monitoring mysql Replication

hello,
i installed hyperic open source, on the replication servers i installed the agents,
i type the mysql password set the install dir, but i get no alerts.
i stopped the slave server, add this alert:
If Condition: Seconds Behind Master > 10s

Enable Action(s): Each time conditions are met.

whats is missing?

Does nobody know how i must set an alert to get a mail when the slave is stopped.
I get an alert when mysql stops or slave is running but its behind the master.

Can you run SHOW SLAVE STATUS from the master when the slave is down and post here?
