develop problem from new guy

hi
i am new guy for hyperic hq. i want to use hyperic to monitor a table of ORACLE.
if the count of records >=10, then i want the hyperic to create a alert to me. i want to develop a plugin or something to do this, but i do not now how to do?
can you help me ?

Hi,

welcome to Hyperic HQ.
You do not need to develop a plugin.
At first create a New Server (http://support.hyperic.com/display/DOC/ui-Inventory.Server.New). As service type please choose SQL Query. Set up the configuration properties for your database server and query.
The second step is to define a proper alert (http://support.hyperic.com/display/DOC/ui-Alert.New).
