It is possible to do agentess monitoring of SNMP services without
installing an agent on the client.
Check out our test-ride guide for an example.

Wouldn't that be bytes?

I don't think so because my machine's C: 58.5GB but the read I got from Hyperic HQ is 5,241,198.0 ?

Hey Hyperyared,

Looks like you've found a bug. It's actually listing out the KBytes
for you and not showing the correct units (which should be bytes).
I've filed the bug here:

Hi
Thank you for your response.

I am testing Hyperic HQ in our test environment. when I tried agentless monitoring using (Network Host Storage) on two different machines one HP G5(20G ram) and the other old COMPAQ (P3, 730mhz, 256 ram) both have windows 2003 server installed, but the funny thing is I get the same reading for both virtual and physical memories both shows Virtual memory (size - 63,106.0 and Used - 11,474.0) and Physical memory (size - 32,759.0 Used - 13,974.0). I think this is a bug. Can U please file this too.

Thanks,
Y.T.

Hi Travis,

I found out why I am getting the same reading for two different machines, I believe I made a mistake on Network Host Storage Configuration Properties, I used the same SNMP agent IP address on both machine .

Thanks,
Yared
