agent install issue

We have installed hyperic agent 5.0.0 on a windows 2003 R2 server. It appears to have installed correctly. Attached are copies of the install process, the wrapper log and the agent log

The agent does not appear on the server dashboard.  We can see no reason for this.  Both the server and the agent are on the same subnet. There is no firewall on the agent machine.

We currently have 29 other agents, all windows servers, installed and registered with the server. the server is installed on CentOS 6.4 with Postgres 9.1 database

Can anyone suggest how we diagnose this and resolve matters.

Hello Spencer,

This is a known issue of Hyperic 5.0.0 agent on windows 2003. This won’t happen with all windows 2003 installations. It is relevant only when certain plug-ins are in use (due to a feature that was added in 5.0).

The issue was fixed in Hyperic 5.7.

Quick follow up.

We went to get Hyperic 5.7 to overcome this issue and cannot find any Hyperic HQ resources newer than 5.0.0

Are we correct in assuming there is no newer HQ release than 5.0.0.

If so what other way do we have to overcome the agent not registering with the server.  Is there a way to remove specific plugins so we can get the agent registered?
