agent connection on snmp devie

Is there any way to modify the ip address for the "agent connection" for an snmp device?

Navigate to the Inventory page for the device (in HQ).
In the "Type & Network Properties" section, click the edit button. There is a drop-down for the agent connection.

But the drop down doesn't give me any choices (other than the one I want to change) and I can't type in the field.

You need to have started additional agents and connected them to the HQ server in order for additional agents to appear in the list. It's not meant to be arbitrarily entered as an IP address, because there would be no agents serving those IP addresses.
