What about Web Services, WSDM and WS-Management ?!

Hi all,

I can't find any info about SOAP, Web Services, OASIS WSDM (Web Service Distributed Management) and DMTF WS-Management in Hyperic documents.

How can I use it for :
- Web Services Management
- Management using Web Services

Do you have any plan to develop the SOAP or Web Services plugin?

We do have plans to implement plugin support classes, similar to
those we provide for JMX, SNMP, SQL, etc. In the meantime, it is
possible to implement such a plugin but it would require writing some
Java code or scripting in language of choice. Can you give us a bit
more detail on what you'd like to do?

I have an activity to select a management solution for an enterprise application.
It seems that using web services technology in management make the next generation of management. OASIS WSDM (Web Services Distributed Management) and DMTF (WS-Management) are working to define the applicability of web services technology in IT management. So support of one of them is critical factor for us.
As you know MS Vista supports WSDM.

Hyperic has nothing about "management using web services" or "managing web services".
So I'm not sure to select it as a complete solution that can satisfy the future requirements.
