Tables in the database and their relationship

I am looking for some info about various tables in the Hyperic Database and their relationship. Is there some document/pointer that gives this info? Basically I am trying to access certain metric measurements from these tables and print it separately.

I did see this thread

but the info in that thread is a little bit outdated I believe.

Specifically lets say, I want to find the availability for a platform. Lets say from the eam_platform table I get access to the platform_id which I can use in the eam_measurement and eam_measurement_templ tables. But I am not sure how to get the measurement_id for the availability metric which I can use to look at the eam_measurement_data table.
