Hi There, I am wonder, is there a way I can get the hq-agent.sh to start when my linux system starts? I am running red hat enterprise 5.4 If I can do this that would be fantastic
The attached script is from the Hyperic HQ Agents RPM package, which is not longer maintained. Additionally there is an old thread with some init scripts attached: http://communities.vmware.com/message/1914755#1914755
You will have to look at the scripts, probably modify a few params like HQ_AGENTT_HOME and JDK home, copy it to your /etc/init.d directory and run chkconfig to enable the scripts.
