I started a question in stackoverflow about this same topic.
As you can see, I'm getting this problem:
A fatal error has been detected by the Java Runtime Environment:
EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION (0xc0000005) at pc=0x0000000010014ed4, pid=1560, tid=4812
It seems to be the exact same problem as discussed here time ago:
Re: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION
It seems Sigar doesn't get updated since 4 years ago (2010) with its last release 1.6.4.
This problem makes sigar totally useless and unreliable. Do you guys know if there's any fix for this problem?
If not, which other alternatives to Sigar can I find out there? I find it difficult to believe people can still using Sigar with this bug...
Thanks.
HI,
I have sigar 1.6.10 without source code.
And I am not sure that v 1.6.10 will overcome this problem.
What platform do you need?
Good luck
Martin
I am working over Windows. Both, 32 and 64 bits. (windows server 2003, windows server 2008, windows 7... )
Where did you get that version from? The official site and repository only contains the 1.6.4.
Sorry, I made a mistake.The version is 1.6.6.10.
The link is sigar1.6.6.10
The files are from hq 5.8
Good luck.
Martin
Thanks, I will give it a try. But.. where did you get it from? That's your uploaded file, isn't it?
It seems that version doesn't solve the problem.
Is there anyway I can ask any developer about this issue? Are they aware of it?
